Type B

Type B is a muscle relaxing toxin produced by a bacteria. Tiny amounts are used for each treatment: it works by relaxing the muscles which we use to frown and also the muscles around the eyes which cause " crows feet". Facial lines are produced by contraction of the facial muscles and for those muscles Type B produces a relaxed effect. It is probably superior to any other form of wrinkle removal . This is simply because it physically stops the contraction of specific muscles and therefore prevents lines. Type B blocks impulses from the nerve to the tiny facial muscles related to expression lines. Once it wears off, the muscle action will return to its original state.

Type B usually takes effect between 7-10 days and lasts for approximately 4 - 6 months.
